Sound familiar?

You work harder than anybody. Your safety net doesn't.

Most trade work leaves you to build your own safety net. No pension at the end. Nothing that keeps paying if your body quits before you do.

01

Your body is the business

No work, no pay. A bad diagnosis doesn't just hurt you. It stops the money coming into the house.

02

No pension. No match.

Self-employed, 1099, or small shop, there's no company plan doing the heavy lifting. It's on you.

03

The bank says no

Need a truck, a tool, or cash for a slow month? You're stuck asking a bank for your own kind of money.

A family bank flips that. You build a pile of cash value inside a life insurance policy that you control, with protection for your family built right in.

What you get

One policy. Three jobs.

An Indexed Universal Life (IUL) policy is built to do three things at once. Here's each one in plain English.

Protects your family

If something happens to you, your family gets a tax-free check, up to $1M. Mortgage paid. Kids taken care of. Truck note gone.

Death benefit generally paid income-tax-free to beneficiaries.

Pays you if you get sick

Heart attack, cancer, stroke takes you off the job? Living benefit riders let you pull part of your death benefit early, while you're still here to use it.

Living benefits accelerate the death benefit on qualifying conditions. Riders vary by carrier and state.

Builds cash you control

Part of what you pay builds cash value. It grows tax-deferred and earns interest linked to a market index, with a 0% floor, so a bad market year doesn't erase your gains.

Caps and participation rates limit upside. Fees and charges still apply in down years.

Straight talk

What this is. And what it isn't.

You've been sold to before. So here's the part most agents skip.

What it IS

  • Permanent life insurance that can last your whole life
  • A long game. It works best when you fund it for years
  • Flexible. Pay more in a good year, less in a slow one
  • Yours. It's not tied to an employer and moves with you

What it is NOT

  • A stock market investment or a get-rich-quick plan
  • Free. It costs money, and the early years build slow
  • Guaranteed growth. Illustrations are projections, not promises
  • Free money. Loans cut your death benefit until paid back
How it works

FAQ

Questions? Start here.

Can I qualify if I have a health condition?

Many tradespeople with common conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or old injuries from years of physical work still qualify, often at standard rates. Your agent matches you to the carrier that fits your health best.

How much does it cost?

There's no set price. It depends on your age, health, how much coverage you want, and how much you put toward cash value. Plenty of guys start smaller than they expect and build from there. Premiums are flexible, so you can size it to your income.

Does this work if I'm self-employed, 1099, or W-2?

Yes. It's an individual policy, not employer-based. You qualify the same way either way, and because you own it, it moves with you if you switch jobs, go independent, or retire.

Do I need a medical exam?

Not to get a quote. Depending on your age and coverage amount, many carriers offer policies with no medical exam. Your agent will tell you which route fits.

Will this hurt my credit?

No. Getting a quote doesn't touch your credit, and we don't ask for your Social Security number on this form.

What if I have a slow season and can't pay?

IUL premiums are flexible, so you can pay less for a stretch. Just know that paying too little for too long can cause the policy to lapse. Your agent will show you a safe minimum.

What happens after I submit?

A licensed independent agent texts you right away and reaches out, usually within 24 hours, to go over your options. No pressure, no obligation. You decide if it fits.

Loans and withdrawals reduce the death benefit and cash value and may cause the policy to lapse. Tax treatment depends on your situation; consult a tax professional.
